Rainy Days and Kisses

March came in like a lion and we weren't able to go for a walk. No more sun. That's all right, though. We enjoyed the last few days with it and there are more to come. Instead of walks, we stayed in our humble abode and played. I got him to smile and laugh some more and I think he got sick of my kisses. He'll just have to get used to it because I ain't stoppin'.

We also did tummy time. He hates it. I try to let him stay on his tummy for as long as I can, but he screams and I can only let him cry for a little bit. I guess he's not crawling anytime soon. Good thing, too. The place is not baby proof yet. I'm leaving that for my husband.

2 Months Old

Two months old already! How crazy is that!?! He now weighs 10 lbs 11 oz and is 22 inches long. David had his shots today. Five of them!!! Poor baby. He's been sleeping all day today and has spiked a mild temperature. Thanks to the great advice of a friend, I've been keeping him on Tylenol to help with his sore legs and to help with the temp. It's worked wonders. Even with his sore legs, he's still willing to smile and talk. This is a video of his cute smiles.

Smiles

David is smiling frequently now. If he didn't have those pesky gas pains, he'd be smiling constantly. Today, he is two months old. Poor little guy has to go in and get his shots. We'll see how he does.

Go Hawkeyes!

Before he was even born, David was an Iowa Hawkeye fan. Thanks to his Uncle Mike and Aunt Nancy, he's all set to root for his favorite team.

Bath time

David's cord finally fell off and I was able to bathe him. He fell asleep after the initial cry.
